He earned a Diploma in Business Studies from HELP University in 1997 and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, in 1999. He has been a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) Australia member since 2003, a Chartered Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors since 2005, and a Certified Internal Auditor (IIA Malaysia) since 2009.

With nearly 20 years of experience in audit and finance, he began his career as an Audit Assistant at Ong & Wong Chartered Accountants in 1998, later advancing to Senior Audit Assistant. Over the years, he has held key internal audit and risk management positions at PPB Group Bhd, TA Enterprise Bhd, Dialog Group Bhd, Expro International Group Ltd, April Management Pte Ltd, and Putrajaya Perdana Bhd.

In 2015, he transitioned to financial leadership roles, serving as Chief Financial Officer at Asdion Bhd and later as Senior Manager of Corporate Audit at BASF Malaysia. Throughout his career, he has held multiple leadership positions, including Chief Risk Compliance Officer and Chief Financial Officer. He is currently the Co-Managing Partner at Complete Governance (M) Sdn Bhd.
